Home inspections are a great time to learn all the nitty gritty details about your soon to be new home! It helps create a “to do” list for the future and can bring to light many of the details we may not think about in home ownership.
Luckily, the home inspector and your agent act in unison to protect you during this time. If any major repair items are found, this may allow the opportunity for negotiation with the sellers. Use the time with your chosen home inspector to ask as many questions as possible and to learn from their experience and knowledge. A good inspector will take the time to educate and reassure you.
