I am a resident of Guilderland and an active member of the community. I have been a full time Realtor for over 11 years, but have been part of the business my entire life. My mother was a Realtor and owned her own firm. I have seen the industry grow and change my entire life. This allows me to bring a high level of expertise to every transaction.
In order to further my career and better my customer service, I have participated in extensive training programs and continue to participate in them even beyond the initial training. My priority is to continue to increase my knowledge and expertise in the industry to better serve my clients. I value working with both sellers and buyers. I am well versed in all aspects of the real estate market, while always working to learn more. Before becoming a full time Realtor I worked in commercial construction for almost 10 years. My knowledge of construction far surpasses what is required by New York State.
Outside of work I am is an active member of the Guilderland community. I works closely with animal rescue groups and have even rescued a few dogs of my own. I am also a member of the Elks club and I participate in various fundraisers throughout the year both in the local community and throughout the Capital District.

Our family resided in MA and my recently deceased mother’s home was located in Schenectady, NY. We needed to enlist a reliable, resourceful, knowledgeable realtor to sell my beloved mom’s home. Thanks to Laurie I have my first house!
Laurie was an intuitive and communicative realtor who helped me purchase my first home. I had worked with 5 other realtors before her, all who did not work out. They may even still think they are helping me. Some were rude and pushed their own agendas, others claimed to work with people in my situation/issue without knowing what it was but assuming they knew me. They claimed experience without any and made my search more difficult to non-existent. I was at my wit's end but most hopeful when I contacted Laurie and received a reply. That was when Real Estate opened up for me.
She was a counselor, a guide, and an experienced real estate agent all rolled up into a perfect package for me. She listened, gave her opinion and reasoning while guiding me where I needed and wanted to go and where she thought might suit my needs/requests. She did all of this without pressure, and was fully knowledgeable about needs/requests and property.
Laurie never wasted our time, as I was limited to travel. Through technology, programs and her network of community, Laurie converter my challenges to help me purchase my home.
To her, I will always be grateful. With our time spent together, I count her as a friend and part of our family.

We first meet Laurie Davey about a year and a half ago. Around that time we were currently looking to rent. Owning a home crossed our minds a few times but we had no idea where to start. But after Laurie suggested that we should indeed think about buying a home, we became very nervous and doubtful. Laurie explained that she would be with us every step of the way. And indeed she was. The outstanding help of Laurie Davey by our side she made sure every question was answered and at times when we felt clueless as to what to do next she took every initiative to make sure that we understood everything.
